Flashcards made from your material, scheduled so you see what is due
Paste your notes or upload a PDF and get a deck back in seconds. Every card is written as a question you have to answer, not a term with its definition sitting next to it.
Questions, not definitions
A card that says define osmosis teaches you to recognise a word. A card that asks why water moves into a cell placed in distilled water makes you retrieve the mechanism. The generator is instructed to write the second kind, one idea per card, and never a card you can answer with yes.
You can write cards by hand too, edit any generated one, and both live in the same deck.
Spaced repetition, without the ceremony
Grade a card again, good or easy and it is scheduled accordingly — failed cards come back within minutes, easy ones stretch out over days and weeks. The shelf shows how many are due right now rather than making you review everything.
Space flips a card and the number keys grade it, so a review session is entirely keyboard-driven.
It connects to the rest of the desk
Cards can be built from a distilled document, from a page in your notebook, or from pasted text. The same material can be turned into a practice paper.
Everything is saved to your account, so a deck made on a laptop is on your phone.
Common questions
How many cards can I generate?
Between five and twenty per deck, and you choose. Generating a deck costs one credit; you get ten free on signing up.
Can I write my own cards?
Yes, and unlimited — hand-written cards and reviewing them cost nothing at all, forever.
What spaced repetition algorithm is it?
An SM-2 style scheduler: each card carries an ease factor and an interval that grows as you keep getting it right, and collapses when you do not.
Can I export my decks?
Yes. Settings has an export that writes your whole desk — decks, notes and journal — to a JSON file you keep.
